NFL Power Rankings - Week 5

Bovada NFL Power Rankings Week 5

It’s NFL Week 5 – who do you like to take it all the way to a Super Bowl ring this season?

If you’re playing it safe, you’ll like the old veteran QB’s playing like they’re in peak condition, with Brady, Rodgers and Wilson leading their teams again.

If you’re the daring type, you might go for the longer odds and potential upside of teams like the Rams and the Chargers, who can both put points on the board in a hurry.

Either way, enjoy Bovada’s Power Rankings this week and get your Super Bowl picks in early.

#1 – The Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) +325
A slow Monday nighter didn’t matter – KC is still the prime Super Bowl threat.

#2 – Baltimore Ravens (3-1) +550
The Ravens crept a bit closer to the top spot in rankings after an easy W against Washington

#3 – Seattle Seahawks (4-0) +700
Seattle improved their odds and Russell Wilson isn’t showing any signs of cooling off.

#4 – Green Bay Packers (4-0) +800
The Packers have scored more than 30 points in all 4 games this season, even with injuries to their top WR’s. Who can stop them?

#5 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) +1100
With 97 points in their past 3 games, the Bucs are on a tear and TB12 is the main reason

#6 – New Orleans Saints (2-2) +1200
The Saints are looking pretty average so far, but the oddsmakers seem to think that Brees and Co. can make a run.

#7 – Buffalo Bills  (4-0) +1300
The Josh Allen show is on, and the Bills are riding their hot QB to a perfect record so far. Can they go the distance?

#8 – Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) +1500
An unexpected bye week pause keeps the Steelers in the top pack of teams with a good shot at the Super Bowl.

#9 – Los Angeles Rams (3-1) +2200
A win over the weakened Giants doesn’t say much, but a soft sked has the oddsmakers keeping the Rams in the top 10.

#10 – San Francisco 49ers (2-2) +2200
The Niners took a step back this week after a loss to the low-flying Eagles.

#11 – Indianapolis Colts (3-1) +2500
After a win over the Bears, the Colts jump into the top 10 in the power rankings.

#12 – Dallas Cowboys (1-3) +2800
Call them Allas, because the Cowboys have no D at the moment – they’ve given up 126 points in their last 3 games.

#13 – New England Patriots (2-2) +2800
Their D held up strong for 3 quarters against the Chiefs, so when Cam Newton is back they could climb back in the hunt.

#14 – Tennessee Titans (3-0) +2500
Tannehill and team are still undefeated but have some obvious health concerns at the moment.

#15 – Cleveland Browns (3-1) +4000
The Browns got a bump after a wild win over the Cowboys, and they might raise some eyebrows later in the season.

Top 32 - Week 5

#16 – Arizona Cardinals (2-2) +5000
The Cardinals are slipping back after a 2-0 start – we’ll see if they can get back on track.

#17 – Chicago Bears (3-1) +5500
Nick Foles might need to dig a little deeper – despite their record, the oddsmakers are cool on the Windy City.

#18 – Philadelphia Eagles (1-2-1) +6600
Their first win last weekend might give the Eagles some momentum – they’re a more talented team than their record indicates.

#19 – Minnesota Vikings (1-3) +7500
They also scored a W for the first time this year, so we’ll see if the Vikings’ ship has smoother sailing ahead.

#20 –  Las Vegas Raiders (2-2) +7500
Their odds got a lot longer after a decent start. Can Coach Gruden find some of his old success before it’s too late?

#21 – Los Angeles Chargers (1-3) +15000
Despite having some talent on the roster, and top rookie Justin Herbert at QB, it may take some more time for the pieces to come together.

#22 – Detroit Lions (1-3) +15000
One week after picking up their first win, the Lions lost a close one to the Saints. Back to the drawing board, but they still have time.

#23 – Atlanta Falcons (0-4) +15000
They’ve lost their last two games by a total of 5 points, so their odds might improve with a W or two.

#24 – Houston Texans (0-4) +15000
They axed their coach after a brutal start, so hopefully for them Deshaun and the team can click with the new guy.

#25 – Carolina Panthers (2-2) +20000
Two straight wins for the Panthers have them back to .500, but it looks like it’ll take more for the oddsmakers to be convinced.

#26 – Cincinnati Bengals (0-2-1) +25000
Joe Burrow got his first W, and the Bengals moved up 4 spots after a Week 4 win..

#27 – Denver Broncos (1-3) +25000
It took the Jets to help the Broncos get their first win – can they get some injured players back and make things interesting?

#27 – Miami Dolphins (1-3) +40000
Seattle took the Fins down in Week 4, but it wasn’t easy and Miami can play It tough.

#28 – Jacksonville Jaguars (1-3) +40000
Minshew Mania might be cooling off a little, but the Jags can be a tough matchup.

#29 – Washington Football Team (1-3) +40000
The NFC East is the weakest division in the league, and Football Team is still better than some of their rivals.

#31 – New York Giants (0-4) +75000
Saquon’s injury is still hurting the Giants, but they’re not the worst team in New York.

#32 – New York Jets (0-4) +100000
Tough going for the Jets, whose odds just got even longer. Are there any bright spots for this squad?

Bovada’s Power Rankings lay out the odds to show which teams have a shot at winning Super Bowl 55.

With teams like Kansas City and Green Bay looking dominant, the odds for some of the teams get longer every week – are they still worth a shot?
