NFL Week 11 Preview

Last week’s NFL action produced a number of blowout victories, with the Cowboys, Patriots, Bills and Chiefs all winning by at least 27 points. We also witnessed one of the bigger betting upsets of the NFL season as the Washington Football Team took down Brady and the Bucs despite being 10-point underdogs. With Week 11 of the NFL season just around the corner, let’s review some of the higher profile betting matchups and update you on the current betting odds for each game at Bovada Sportsbook

Week 11 NFL Previews

Indianapolis Colts (+7) at Buffalo Bills (-7)

The 6-3 Bills have the NFL’s best scoring defense and second-best scoring offense, but they need this win as their lead atop the AFC East is down to just a half-game over the Patriots. The Colts are arguably the best 5-5 squad in the league as they ride the improved play of QB Carson Wentz and a strong running game featuring RB Jonathan Taylor. As seven-point underdogs, Indy could provide some excellent betting value in this contest.

Baltimore Ravens (-6.5) at Chicago Bears (+6.5)

The 3-6 Bears are coming off their bye and looking to end a four-game losing streak as they take on the 6-3 Ravens. Led by rookie QB Justin Fields, Chicago’s offense has looked anemic this season, averaging just 16.7 points per game. The Ravens will be hungry for the win following last week’s ugly loss to the Dolphins, but you may not want to trust a road favorite that is just 3-6 against the spread so far this season.

Washington Football Team (+3.5) at Carolina Panthers (-3.5)

This matchup features a pair of teams coming off massive upset victories. Despite last week’s impressive performance from QB Taylor Heinicke, betting on a Washington team that holds the league’s worst record against the spread, at 2-7, is a risky proposition. The Panthers are 5-5 on the year (both straight up and against the spread), but are boosted by the NFL’s number one passing defense and the return of franchise favorite, QB Cam Newton.

Cincinnati Bengals (-1) at Las Vegas Raiders (+1)

At 5-4 on the year, both the Raiders and Bengals are looking to prove they are legit Super Bowl contenders. Both squads are battling in extremely tight divisions, so the outcome of this game will go a long way in the standings. This game could turn into a shootout as Raiders QB Derek Carr is averaging 314 passing yards per game, while Bengals QB Joe Burrow has the league’s best deep threat in WR Ja’Marr Chase.

Dallas Cowboys (+2.5) at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5)

It was a rough start to the season for the Chiefs, however they have managed to turn things around as Kansas City are now 6-4 and back atop the AFC West. The Chiefs defense has surrendered just 38 points combined over their past three games, but will face a stiff test versus a 7-2 Cowboys squad that leads the league in scoring at 31.6 points per game. This game features two of the NFL’s best teams and could end up being a preview of this year’s Super Bowl.
